What is the MAZDA 360-Degree View Monitor?

Parallel parking and backing up in busy Scranton parking lots can quickly become stressful situations, but they don’t have to be thanks to the Mazda 360-degree View Monitor. Available for select Mazda models, the 360-degree View Monitor allows you to enjoy total peace of mind while you’re out and about in Lehighton. So, what is the Mazda 360-degree View Monitor, and how does it work? Find out with the team at Bergey's Mazda of Wilkes-Barre below, and don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions!

Overview of the MAZDA 360-Degree View Monitor

The Mazda 360-degree View Monitor provides a bird’s eye view of your surroundings and allows you to navigate any situation with confidence. Some refer to this technology as the Mazda 360-Degree View Camera, but that isn’t accurate. The Mazda 360-degree View Monitor actually consists of four cameras on the top, front, sides, and rear of your vehicle. This system also works in tandem with Rear and Front Parking Sensors that send increasingly urgent alarms as your proximity to obstacles increases.

Whether you’re parking on a busy street in Stroudsburg or backing into a tight parking space, you can relax knowing nothing will get past the Mazda 360-degree View Monitor and Parking Sensors. What’s not to love?

How to Use the 360-Degree View Monitor

So, how does the Mazda 360-degree View Monitor work? You’ll be pleased to know the 360-degree view camera is easily accessible and straightforward to use. Simply press the “View” button on the lower side of your dashboard. You can then switch between the following views on your MAZDA CONNECT™ Infotainment screen:

  • Normal Front – Shows what’s directly in front of you
  • Wide Front – Shows a larger view of what’s in front of you
  • Side – Shows what’s next to you on either side
  • Normal Rear – Shows what is behind you
  • Wide Rear – Provides a larger view of what’s behind you
  • Top Down – Combines the images taken from your four cameras to see it all
